On Saturday, June 5th, I had the honor of photographing Alissa and Michael’s one year vow renewal at Tymeless Valley Farm in Manchester, MD. Alissa and Mike were originally set to have their big wedding day in 2020 when unfortunately COVID put a damper on their plans. They were still able to tie the knot as planned *(blog post here) but sadly they were forced to put the celebration with family and friends on hold like so many other couples last year. I was so happy to get to spend another day with these two and their loved ones. To know Alissa and Mike is to love them. They quite possibly are two of the sweetest most genuine people I have had the pleasure of photographing and their family and friends were just as amazing and eager to celebrate them.
Alissa and Mike renewed their vows in the meadow, in the same quiet spot as the year before, this time surrounded by loved ones. There’s really something to be said for the collective energy when good people gather. So much love and joy all around. It was simply beautiful.
